Ambulatory ECG event recorder
The Intricon Datrix Sirona Event/Holter Recorder, private labeled and manufactured by Datrix LLC, Escondido, California, is a U.S. FDA-cleared cardiac event monitoring device for extended ambulatory ECG monitoring. Cardiac Biotech Solutions markets a private-labeled configuration of the device in international markets.

From recording to physician review
The recorder is worn during daily activities, as directed by a physician.
ECG events are recorded when the patient activates the device or when auto-trigger captures selected rhythm events.

Recorded ECG data is reviewed by a licensed physician.

Intended Use & Important Safety Information
Intended use. The device is intended for diagnostic evaluation of patients who experience transient symptoms that may suggest cardiac arrhythmia. When an event is recorded, patients transmit the recorded ECG data over the telephone or directly to a host PC for review by a licensed physician.
How it works. The device is a trans-telephonic, "rate and rhythm" cardiac event recorder that relies on the R-wave to determine heart rate. It does not analyze ECG waveform morphology and does not perform ST-segment or QT analysis.
Important Safety Information
- Prescription use only. U.S. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
- The device is a retrospective tool that provides supplementary information to aid patient care. Recorded data should not be used as the sole means of determining a diagnosis.
- It is not intended for patients requiring real-time mobile cardiac telemetry, time-dependent data reporting, or attended in-hospital monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias.
- It is not a lifesaving or life-supporting device. Intended for adults only; not for infants weighing less than 10 kg.
- Not for use during an MRI. The device is not waterproof. Route excess cable away from the neck to avoid a strangulation hazard.
